JAAGO INDIA.. JAAGO !!

Doston !! i am very much confused for quite some time..and finally i have dared to address this 'isue' with you all..
Everyday, i see news and reports of alarmingly increasing concerns and distress over increasing corruption levels and practices and how the entire system has been eaten away by our leaders, politicians, beaurocrats etc..etc.
Well.. it sounds very assuring and encouraging to note all this..and a ray of hope emerges.. BUT Has INDIA (..i.e we ) really WOKEN UP in its true sense ??
We practise all sorts of possible unfair practices and 'jugad' or 'setting' , if need be..and coolly presume every bit of fairness and justifiability in that. Wwe shamelessly offer 20/- note to traffic constable on rule violation so as not to be served chaalan ( and he is also happy in that) and speed away the vehicle, We plead TTE to allot us 'any' available seat and grease his palm with 100/0 note..and in the same breath curse the same person of dishonesty and corruption..why this dichotomy ??
We have all the time ' chalta hai ' attitude..unless it directly affests us or our kins. we scatter filth on streets..expect Govt to clean up.. we make fraudulent investmonts in hope of fast rich returns and when it fails down.. expect Govt to intervene and compensate, we encroach the plots/shops and when caught..expect authorities to be lenient. we dont dutifully pay taxes..may it be I/Tax, Sales, Excise whatever..and are eager to find ways to avert it ..Coz we feel that whatever (dishonest..although we never look at it.this way )bit..i have been doing ( or rather forced to do so )is OK..nO HARM IN THAT..PERFECTLY FINE.. but my leader should be spotless, honest and clean !!
Dear friends..pl pardon me in saying that in present times in India..we have come to the situation now that HE ONLY IS 'HONEST' WHO DOESNT GET THE 'OPPORTUNITY'..Why we have adjusted ourselves to this level of convenience and compromise.. because we have gone selfcentric, materialist and protector of our interests. we want to lead the convenient, comfortable life at the cost of all compromises and adjustments and we are rather indifferent to others.. So whosoever gets bigger opportunity takes away big cake for himself..(range it to 2000-5000/ lakhs..or crores..or beyond ) whereas small constable is happy receiving 200-500/0 a day..
We are a part of all this.. yet we like to pose as idealist and patriot..though..we like ourselves to remain idle and inactive and expect all others to pursue the cleanliness drive..
Can this 'confusion' lead us to anywhere.. pl clarify my this confusion.. This has become more important in the light of emergence of our strong, competent and honest leader in form of NARENDRA MODI ..but we have to set our homes right first and untill we do that little duty.. we have no right to criticise, condemn or ridicule others.. WAKE UP my dear citizens.. Give a clean hand to our LEADER in cleansing the system.. Amen !!

Who stops you from unearthing black money within India??

Dear friends,
There is so much hue and cry these days..all time and everywhere regarding billions and crores of black money stashed away by our fellow Sapoots in foreign banks and institutions. Everyone i/c Opposition, Industry ,media ,Fimwallahs, common man n even Supreme Court is yelling from its rooftop that something must be done to bring back this LOOT MONEY to India and culprits be punished severely..
Hmm...Very tedious and uphill task indeed..with more and more clumsy, complicated and procedural jargon to follow..albeit with more of political will and desire to track that path.!!

But why are we looking beyond our ‘authority’ and hiding our self behind these lame and vague excuses and allegations...when (if we want to..ofcourse..then) we can atleast start the process of cleansing from within. i.e...‘’ unearth the black money within India itself first??

Who will deny that this country is running on black money and there is a parallel economy working in almost every sphere and walk of life here. No contract/ deal / transaction is finalized here without underhand transactions of money and other favours. May it be a nexus between Engineers, contractors and suppliers Or Doctors, chemists, laboratories Or Politicians, Industry and media Or Ministry, suppliers, dealers Or any other field for that matter..everywhere crores and crores of public money is being laundered between all vested interests and all are party to this handsome loot. Find out the assets and properties of most of the IAS Officers , Public servants , leaders, Businessmen , Sport personalities , Glamour world, Bollywood, Custom officers, I/tax authorities , judges etc..etc..and determine how fairly and legally ..They have amassed wealth and fortunes for themselves and their kiths and kins..

Can anyone claim honestly that they have paid due sales / excise/ income / service /entertainment etc.etc.taxes to appropriate authorities?? All the major hospitals , Educational trusts etc are shamelessly avoiding tax payments on account of public service , charity, research and what not. and eating away the loot. Thousands of tax consultants and CA’s are tirelessly working for millionaires to produce fake records and documents to evade tax payments.

Criminal world is thriving on black money, hawala , benami, extortions and ransom and where all this transaction is leading to ?? The nexus between politicians, mafia and business world is growing everyday and it’s an open secret how election funds are generated by every party.

The list is endless..and everyone ‘who matters’ is together in this Ganga Snaan..and ironically, though we know it all..but still pretend as if its none of our ‘concern’!! Isn’t it ridiculous, shameful and paradoxical??
Now.. its ur own country, own land ..ur own laws.. We have our Parliament, executives, judiciary , media..everyone.. Why cant we raise our voice for making the existing laws more stringent, plug the loopholes, book the guilty and punish him within reasonable timeframe, confiscate the money and use the same for public welfare. But where is the will for that??

Is it not ironical when you cant hang the convicted Afzal Guru ..and still make all hues and cries for sentencing death penalty to Kasab ??

>
PETROL IN Pakistan Rs 17/ per litre, in Malaysia Rs 18 per litr ( PL check out the facts urself..friends.)
> In India it's Rs.65per litr

> Why is there a difference within India itself? World Market CRUDE Oil

> are thegeneral public, or Common Man as R.K.Laxman wud hv said, we
> have to raise our voice, let's raise thru Emails/ sms / phone calls etc..
> Forward this to all Indians who care.
> It has been calculated that if everyone did not purchase a drop of
> petrol for one day and all at the same time, the oil companies would
> choke on theirstockpiles.
> At the same time it would hit the entire industry with a net loss over
> 4.6 billion dollars which affects the bottom lines of the oil
> companies.
> Therefore " Feb.14th " has been formally declared "stick it up their
> behind " day and the people of this nation should not buy a single
> drop ofpetrol that day.
> The only way this can be done is if you forward this to as
> many people as you can and as quickly as you can to get the word out.
> Waiting on thegovernment to step in and control the prices is not
> going to happen. What happened to the reduction and control in prices
> that the Arab nationspromised two weeks ago?
>
> Remember one thing, not only is the price of petrol going up but at
> the same time airlines are forced to raise their prices, trucking
> companies areforced to raise their prices which affects prices on
> everything that is shipped. Things like food, clothing, building
> supplies medical supplies etc.Who pays in the end? We do!
>
> We can make a difference. If they don't get the message after one day,
> we will do it again and again. So do your part and spread the word.
> Forwardthis to everyone you know.

INDIA VS BHARAT !!

Hi friends.
Pl link up with my two previous posts: (i) why we remain so self obsessed?? (ii) lets do ‘introspection’..
Well.. Its again India vs. Bharat..

India is shining.. Moving ahead.. Going strong in this 21st century..emerging as strong economic entity.. GDP growth rising.. Developmental works going on fast spree.. People feeling reassured that we are marching ahead towards more prosperous, brighter and more comfortable life.. But this scene is merely for a small segment of our Indian populace.. May be 10-15 %.. or if we are more enthusiast about our achievements.. then let us extrapolate this figure ..May be upto 20-25% (this includes a major chunk of fast moving upper middleclass group.. But what what about the rest..the real Bharat >> ??

My brother moved to US quite some times back..as he saw greener pastures thee for himself.. I have strong reservations still for his move and I do not approve of the same still..(I’ll deliberate about it ..sometimes later..)..But I totally agree with his contention. .when during his last visit here.. he simply laughed at and ridiculed : “ Is this the development..you are boasting of ?? Du feel.. by simply building flyovers. Shopping malls, multiplexes ..high rise apartments and structures..and donning Mcdonalds, Pizza huts and other international brands, India has developed ?? What is the condition of average Indian ?? Is he happy , satisfied and prospering ?”

The real Bharat is still lamenting with the onslaught of all dire necessities for his survival. There are hundreds and thousands of villages.. who are short of potable water, roads, infrastructure . general amenities.. Urban population is no less deprived of these requirements either.. There is still 65% of our population illiterate, poor living in shattered dingy unhygienic condition..everyday toiling hard for its survival in this cruel world. Millions have been uprooted from their home.. migrating to greener pastures to nearby cities, metros etc.etc. living a life of hell. Adjacent to every big structure..develops a shanty of slums for migrant labours..n no one ever bothers where they all go after the construction is over..
This is because we have centralized our so called ‘development’ to few centres and left our villages, towns and common public totally ignored and neglected.. If we had done grassroot work at our villages imparting education, primary health and employment opportunities at village and town levels.. the scene would have been totally different..

Problem is not this that we have erred in our plans.. cause of more concern is this that we still do not realize the need of doing suitable amends..reach out to common masses and do some real positive work for upliftment of our fellow countrymen who live in Bharat..

India can never prosper if Bharat is left behind.. and more cruelsome would be to see India prospering at the cost of Bharat..

Think a little bit..please

lets do some 'INTROSPECTION' !!

NAMASKAR FRIENDS !!
WELL.. I WILL CONTINUE FROM MY LAST POST ' WHY ARE WE SO SELF OBSESSED " ?/

There is no problem in feeling proud of our old heritage , rich civilization and culture.. n surely we must harness our potential and capacity of doing wonders in near furure.. but is that all ?? Can we declare ourselves as a mighty, powerful , assuring and confident promising nation ..when... ??
yeahh.. pl introspect a little !!
India is now over 125cr population with almost 40% of its public below poverty line..or leading life in dire straits.. that makes a whopping 50crores+ mark which should be a cause of gr8 concern for one and all..THIS manpower resource may not be treated as an asset and we have to do all our bits not to let it be our liability instead.
India is continuously striven with all sorts of internal disturbances, strifes, unrest spread over major parts of our country from J&K to Telangana, North east...to naxals.who are bent upon consuming maximum of states's time, money and resources for keeping peace with thhem.. we have continuous border disputes with our neighbouring countries..viz pakistan , bangla desh, sri lanka ..not to talk of china who has alrready occupied thousand sq km of land..and is slowly consolidating its base in ariunachal and tibet..
Internal states are entangled in various property, border, water and other disputes with hardly any solution in the offing..and we sit idlly..without doing anything concrete in evolving the solution.
One vereappan showed us moon and stars for several years altogether.. and 3-4 state govts could hardly do anything..
One thakrey issues a statement and entire mumbai or state is at the mercy of hooligans and vandalism.with common man totally helpless and hopeless..
bACKWARDS, FORWARDS, OBC's,etc..etc.. are free to block traffic..rail jams..for weeks together ..n administration is totally immune to the worsening situation..
Are these the signs of an assuring, emerging nation on the path of becoming a super power..or graet economic entity when we ourselves have not yet learnt of living together as a free, democratic country..
I FEEL AMUSED WHEN VERY VOCIFEROUSLY OUR LEADERS (AND OUR MEDIA) ADVOCATE FOR A PERMANANT SEAT IN SECURITY COUNCIL..just on the basis of our largest..most populous democracy..
Unless..we come strong and confident from within..and come over successfully our internal problems.. we cant succeed in becoming a powerful , strong economy where every citizen takes pride in living happily as a true indian..

Whats's ur take on that..pl convey the same..and advise the essentials.

have a nice day !! good luck !!

why we always feel so 'OBSESSED' ??

‘ MERA BHARAT MAHAN’
‘ I LOVE MY INDIA
‘ SAARE JAHAN SE ACHCHA HINDUSTAN HAMARA ‘

Pretty true!! Is that really so??
We boastfully talk of our 5000+ year’s old civilization and culture... We take pride in our religion, region, caste, customs, traditions etc...etc. We are always self obsessed with our glorious past and ancient deeds. We get emotionally charged up at the mention of Vedas, Upanishads, Samhitas etc,, and jubiliantly describe its rich content and vastness of containing almost anything on this universe and even beyond in our religious scriptures and declare ourselves the saviour of mankind , purity and worthiness  and  just sit idle , relaxed and laid back at our present poor state of affairs ..taking false pride in our past.. simply doing nothing to solve the present mess and mostly cursing others for the doom and often looking into past for present days problems.

Another self obsessed section is of modernists who always looks into West for India’s problems and very emphatically declares that We are going to be the NO.1 in next 10-20 years. We are the fastest growing economy in this world. India’s GDP rate is very promising and we have the largest technical/skilled manpower base etc. etc. and no one can beat us in becoming the World champion.. Tomorrow is ours !!..they vociferously declare !!

Now..friends !! Honestly tell me.. is that the real scenario ?? What is India today ??
How is its strength (and weakness as well )?? Can we be really proud to be true Indian ??
Nationalist fervour and patriotic feels are okay.. but should we take false pride and always feel obsessed with us being great..n greatest..whereas ground realities portray a diff picture !!

You pl dwell on my thoughts..I will continue with this topic..in my next blog..
With best compliments..

kya kabhi in sab ka sur milega ???

dear friends !!
y'day we celebrated our Republic Day..26th january..
All thru the day.. on various channels n radio.. one thing kept repeating
"  mile  sur  mera tumhara ""
A  day before our republic day.. musical maestro Pt Bhimsen Joshi passed away.. whose spellbound voice leaves   everlasting impression on our hearts and minds when one humms the song ' mile sur mera tumhara '

My most courteous heartfelt tributes to the departed soul.. an era has come to an end in classical musical world with passing away of this kirana gharana maestro !!

But since past several decades. i have been continuously puzzled by this ' mile sur ..'.
Since my college days.. i have been watching this beautiful composition wherein all whizzards from all walks of life.. from all areas of our country.. may it be games, sports , dance , music , film , folk arts etc very enthusiastically try to portray the one ness of india.. unity in diversity n our multifacetedd glorious civilization and culture .. n truly..whnever we watch this clip.. we feel proud to be indian and nationalist n patriotic sentiments and emotions keep our mind n body charged up to excel furthermoreton.os.

But..doston !! i have always felt puzzled while going thru these sentiments.. I am not sure whether others have also pondered over this or not..but i am intrigued as to when all great personalities from diff walks of life in india are coming together on one common platform stressing the need of unity, dignity and richness of our country.. why then our leaders have been left out from this scene.. when all others can sing together in a chorus for unified india.. why not then Congress, BJP, Socialists, Communists, MUSLIM League etc..can think of some common agenda for the good and betterment of common public..?? why their goals and objectives are so disarrayed and fragmented that they never speak in unison on any issue ( Except on hiking their own salaries )..

Years have passed by.. the world has changed a lot.. too much water has flown over Ganges ..brahmaputra, cauvery etc.. etc.. but our politician's sectarian, partisan and divisive policies have only gone from bad to worse.. why Sonia Gandhi , advani , prakash karat , togadia , shahi imam , mahmooda mufti, mulayam , maya , jaylalita, mamta, karuna, sharad pawar , bal thakre, omar abdullah, yedurappa, raman singh etc..etc.. cant come together, raise their voices vociferously against common causes and issues related to india viz.. health , education . female foeticide, unemployment, illieracy , poverty, black money, corruption, mafia, criminals etc etc..

zaroorat.. dhoni. leander paes, gagan narang . kunju rani . sonu nigam , annu malik , aishwarya rai..etc..etc..ko ek saath laane ki nahi hai.. wo sab tau apna kaam theek thak kar hi rahe hain..
Zaroorat to bigde hue laadlon..aur nalayak  netaon ke hosh sudharne ki hai..
kya kabhi aisa din aayega.. jab ye sab param mitra ek saath awaz mein awaz mila kar ek sur se apne hindusthan ke liye gaa sakein "" MILE SUR MERA TUMHARA.. TAU SUR BANE HAMARA " ??

Mujhe tau ummeed nahi hai..!! what du have to say on this.. i 'll wait for ur views and comments..

JAI HIND.
